What are some cultural activities to do in Hertfordshire?
Hertfordshire may not be on the top of many people’s lists of top destinations to visit in the UK but I think it’s one of England’s most underrated counties. I might be biased because I’ve lived there all my life but I can honestly say there’s just so much culture around this area. This mostly comes from the dense concentration of stately homes that offer high culture and plenty of fascinating history.
If you’re in the area, then I highly recommend checking out any National Trust properties that may be nearby. These offer amazing parks to stroll around in and properties that are steeped in history. Many of these have been turned into galleries and museums so I recommend you just type “fine art gallery Hertfordshire“ onto Google Maps and see which ones are within visiting distance.
