The basic pool equiment are pool filters, pool pumps, pool covers. You can install different pool covers depending on purpose and season; pool safety cover is the basic and widely known cover, leaf nets are used frequenty during fall, pool solar cover can save you money from pool heating because it traps and transfers heat from the sun to the pool water and pool winter cover is used to winterize your pool.

Ladders and steps, diving boards, pool fountains and so on are considered pool accessories.
