Families are often torn apart because of problem gambling. The person with the problem will take a perfectly good family and put them into financial ruin. Not to mention probably tearing the family up because of divorces and separations. Communities are hurt when many of these people resort to crime to feed their addictions. Plus it doesn’t help the community when another poor family has their house foreclosed upon.
