What are some good animes for girls?
I’m going to go ahead and plow into my Key series rant. Clannad and its sequel, After Story. Clannad is about a girl, Nagisa, and a boy, Tomoya, who happen to meet each other in a strange manner on the hill by their school. Nagisa is a sickly young lady who has had to be held back a few times because of all the days of school she misses when her condition acts up. She is just entering school again into a grade where she no longer knows anyone at all. She’s painfully shy and doesn’t know how she can bring herself to walk up that hill to school when she’s always alone, and will continue to be alone. She happens to talk to herself, musing aloud her thoughts, when Tomoya, the resident school delinquent, hears and answers her. The story continues from there, how they get to know each other. Due to domestic issues at home, Tomoya moves in with Nagisa and her parents, and they go to school, make new friends, and above all, try to see Nagisa’s dream of reviving the school’s drama club come tru
