What are some good gifts to give the groomsmen for a wedding?
I’m also having two groomsmen at my wedding and have been wondering the same thing. I guess the gift you give should suit the personalities of your friends, and your own relationship with them of course. For example, if you’re all three avid sports fans you could get them tickets to one of your favourite team’s games. I think guys generally are more open to consumable gifts whereas women tend to appreciate keepsakes more. Actually, I think women appreciate gifts more period. Guys tend to have that ho-hum macho pat on the back thanks buddy kind of response. In my case, I would probably get them each a bottle of good rum – I’m from the Caribbean and we love our alcohol down here, so I know it will be appreciated. Alternatively, but on the same track, maybe a beer mug or glass with a personalised thank you note etched on – I’m thinking “You’re next…” since they’re both single. I would not get my friends things like gold pens or tie pins or such because they would either never use them,
