What are some good, healthy after school snacks?
I good after school snack is some crackers you buy from the supermarket, with humus or some other topping.
My kids came up with what they call Apple Thunk-its Cut up and core an apple. Spread peanut butter around the apple and roll it in peanuts, rice crispies or my favorite, Frosted flakes….ok so the frosted flakes aren’t “healthy” but they are great!
Peanut butter and crackers are good and better for you than chips, also fresh or frozen fruits such as strawberries, peaches or blueberries sprinkled with sugar substitute are tastey and also healthy!
