What are some good ideas for a Halloween costume that are NOT slutty?
My go-to costume for halloween is a jellyfish. You just need one of those clear, bubble-type umbrellas and some ribbon and stuff to staple around the edges. That way you can wear whatever you want (I generally just wear all black), and you can even fold up the costume and put it away if you end up somewhere you don’t want to ‘wear’ it. Easy and cheap and great for last minute, yet still unique enough that people always compliment me on it. Good luck! I wanted to add that I agree with you on the slutty costumes. I don’t know when Halloween became an excuse to dress like a tramp. With the jellyfish costume you can dress it up or down as you like. It’s good to hear someone agree with my thoughts on women using the holiday as an excuse to try and be ‘sexy’.
