What are some good museums to visit in Paris?
The main Science Museum in Paris is the Palais de la Découverte, which is located right in the center of Paris, adjacent to the Grand Palais. One of the main attractions, among many others, is a domed room with all of the known decimals of Pi written on the ceiling. Other good museums in Paris are the Louvre (however, I don’t recommend trying to see everything, just choose one small section, and by the time you leave that one small section, you will no more than you ever wanted to about art in that time period and geographical location!) Another good museum is the Musée d’Orsay, which mainly focuses on Impressionist and 19th century art. It is located in the center of Paris in a converted train station, which is very beautiful. As I’m sure you know, there are hundreds of museums in Paris, covering all different kinds of art. There is the Musée Cluny, which focuses on the Early Parisian times.
