What are some good value restaurants in Dublin Ireland?

For things like Irish stew, the rest of the posters are right in that most pubs will have a few options like that on the menu. However, I’d recommend that you seek out pubs that are not right in the tourist hotspots as these won’t always be cheap. Some exceptions to this would be O’Neill’s on St. Andrew’s Street (just off Grafton St) which does a great carvery, and T.P. Smith’s on Jervis Street (just near Mary’s Street). Other good value restaurants in town, which do not necessarily do Irish food, include: Cornucopia – Wicklow St (healthy, fresh cooked food, much of which is gluten free, vegetarian, etc) Acapulco – Georges St (Mexican) Salamanca – St Andrew’s St (tapas) Gruel – Dame Street (contemporary cuisine) Milano – East Essex Street (pizza) As you probably know, not much in Dublin comes cheap – but the prices here are all reasonable, especially compared to some. Hope you have a great trip!
