What are some important things I should know about Terbutaline?
Terbutaline is sold under the names Brethine and Bricanyl. Terbutaline comes either in oral tablet form or as an aerosol inhaler. For allergies, either type of form can be used. Although the FDA has not approved Terbutaline for use in pre-term labor, some doctors administer oral tablets to their patients every 4-6 hours until the baby is delivered.
