What are some jobs related to the music industry?
Sound Engineers, either working in a studio with artists recording their music, or Live on stage when they perform, micing their instruments and getting sound levels correct. Drum Technician, tunes the drummers drums, makes sure nothing’s broken. Tests the drums during sound check sometimes, if the band is big and the drummer doesn’t have time. Guitar/Bass Technician, keeps the all the Guitars and Bass’ tuned and cleaned, makes sure all the strings are in good order or replace any that look like they could snap. Band Manager, who organises the band, gets them to rehearsals and gigs. Tour Manager, some times this is also the band manager but with bigger bands they usually have separate people. this guys books the gigs and plans everything in advance. Production Manager, designs what the stage will look like, like backdrops, special effects, screens, smoke, extras, dancers, pyrotechnics.
