What are some low carb high fiber foods?
Vegetables! all kinds, especially greens, and they are also high in vitamins and minerals. Fruits, especially the low sugar ones, like grapefruit, apples (Granny smith are really low in sugar), pears, berries (really high in antioxidants and vitamins). Whole grains, I know they are carbs but I like the high fibre sugar-free bran cereals. Nuts/seeds: if you eat for example,peanuts with the skins, the skins have antioxidants in them, and same with almonds, very low carb, reasonable amount of fibre, lots of minerals and vitamins, protein, of course high in fat but it’s the good kind; sesame seeds, try eating tahini as a spread or dip for veggies, pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, fl.ax seeds (ground and sprinkled on cereal, in shakes, etc, very healthy source of fibre and good fats). Beans, have complex carbs but also a LOT of fibre and protein. Lentils, veggie chilli, soups, stuff like that. Hope I helped!
