What are some of the pitfalls of live presentations?

0

We would predominantly whenever possible, pre-record the presentation and do a live Q&A; and panel discussions were done all live. I have also done many live ones [presentations]. And the live ones always give me gray hairs. You never knew what was going to happen, and anything that could happen, believe me, did. I’ve had people live, calling in from another country and in the middle of doing a presentation the line drops. So, I’m not a fan of live events, because things can and do go wrong and I have experienced that. The pre-record gives you a much more polished and controlled presentation and then you do the live Q&A afterwards, which gives the interaction.
