What are some of the properties of nylon, cotton and polyester that make stains harder/easier to remove?

Cotton is the worst for staining because it is a natural product and very absorbent. It “breathes” and is very comfortable to wear, but it stains easily. Polyester is basically woven plastic. It doesn’t absorb much, but oils can get trapped inside the weaving. Still…it’s much easier to remove oil and other stains from Polyester than it is from Cotton. Polyester does not breathe much is isn’t that comfortable to wear. Nylon is a woven petroleum product. It is not absorbent. The weave is usually less tight than Polyester weave, not only are most things not absorbed into the nylon, but very little gets trapped in the weave either. Nylon does not breathe and can make your skin feel suffocated. Hope this has helped.
