What are some positives and negatives on the caste system in india?
Caste system in India is a professional division of people unfortunately viewed as religious one by almost all. People engaged in teaching & religious matters were named brahmins and so on… Each one had a physical mark of identification like ‘choti'(a bunch of hair on shaven head) was a symbol of brahmins and so on… The idea was each one got training in their profession by assisting his father. An adult at an age of 15 starts earning/contributing to his father. Due to group living, discipline came automatically. THESE WERE THE BENEFITS. Unfortunately this led to religious fights and proving superiority was always at stake. This further led to separation among them. In to-day’s era of industrialization, this got broken quite fast and only traces are remaining.
