What are some really good homemade salsa recipes?
Here’s my own concoction. I grow peppers so had plenty to experiment with! Just like a restaurant in both taste and texture. 29 OZ. TOMATO SAUCE ( I USE HUNT’S) ½ MEDIUM ONION 3 JALAPENOS 1-2 BANANA PEPPERS 1 FRESH CAYENNE PEPPER 1/2 MEDIUM RED BELL PEPPER–(NO SEEDS) 2-3 CLOVES GARLIC ¾ T LEMON JUICE ½ t SALT HANDFUL OF CILANTRO PUT ALL INGREDIENTS IN A FOOD PROCESSOR AND RUN UNTIL FULLY CHOPPED AND BLENDED. IT TASTES A LOT BETTER THAN JARRED! IT FREEZES WELL TOO, DOESN’T BECOME WATERY. USE GOOD CHIPS TOO!!!
Easy-Peasy Salsa 1 can chopped tomatoes 2 Jalepenos, chopped 1 small onion, diced 1/2 tsp chilli pepper 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper 1/2 tsp garlic powder Lime juice Stick it all in a bowl and mix together. Leave to sit in a refridgerator for 2 hours. Serve immediately with warmed tortilla chips or in a tortilla wrap with lots of chargilled vegetables.
