What are some scientific theories/arguments against the existence of God and Religion?

You’re looking at it the wrong way really. Atheists don’t believe in God mainly because of a lack of evidence. Theists will often say that they take it on faith and that’s reasonable, but the ones who say they can prove the existence of God scientifically never can, and they say that Atheists haven’t disproved God, thus he must exist. This is incorrect. If theists want to claim there is a God, they must make their case and show the evidence. The burden of proof is on the person making the claim and indeed you can’t prove a negative — the lack of God. There are no real scientific arguments against the existence of God (the big bang theory and evolution is neutral on the existence of God, it is merely factual explanations of events) but there couldn’t be. Science makes no assumptions, and the theistic assumption that a supernatural, unseen Deity exists and the bible is it’s true word is just about the biggest assumption one can make.

There are no scientific arguments that can disprove God. There are many arguments that can disprove or invalidate specific ideas of a particular religious group. Also, it is well established that religion exists, so you can’t argue against its existence very successfully.
