– They are usually characterized by an extensive rainy season, and then dry season. This causes most native fauna to have adapted migratory behavior, sometimes migrating to a completely different type of biome. These tend to be social aggregate or herd animals like ungulates (hoofed animals) and elephants. -Some have adapted advanced features in water conservation, like the awesome baobab tree. – Because of the dry season, many species of plants and animals are adapted to live alongside fire.
