The North American Board of Naturopathic Examiners. NABNE is responsible for the licensing examinations required before a graduate can take the state or provincial licensing exams. The Council on Naturopathic Medical Education is the group that awards or denies accreditation to a naturopathic medical school. Once a school has candidacy status their students have all the same rights and privileges that an accredited school’s students have. The British Columbia Naturopathic Association is the professional association for naturopathic physicians in BC. The BCNA acts on behalf of and for the profession to promote the services provided by and the integrity and honour of the naturopathic profession. The Association of Accredited Naturopathic Medical Colleges site will also list all the CNME-approved schools and has a lot more information as well about various ND programs.
