What are symptoms of a urinary tract infection (UTI) and yeast infection?
Pain when urinating, increased urge to urinate, increased frequency of urination and blood in the urine are all symptoms of urinary tract infection. UTI’s are easily treated with an antibiotic. Signs and symptoms of yeast infections include vaginal itching and odorous vaginal discharge. Yeast infection can be perpetuated by antibiotics, wearing constrictive clothing, wearing nylon instead of cotton underwear, and wearing wet bathing suits.They are treated with a vaginal cream or oral medication prescribed by the physician or NP.
