What are the Advantages and Disadvantages of WOW classes?
Considering most classes can be specced very different ways, the +/- and playstyle of each spec can vary massively Mage: Glass cannon – +: Lots of damage output/crowd control options; -: cloth wearer, sometimes feel like vending machine/taxicab Priest: +: Fantastic healer/can (mostly single target)DPS; -: pain to level at low levels, clothie Warlock: Cannon with pets – +: decent damage, good utility abilities; -: clothie, long setup time if killed Rogue: Evil backstabber +: Plenty of DPS and tools to control combat; -: if you mess up you die quickly Druid: Anything you can do… +: Incredibly flexible, can fulfill pretty much every role in game; -: jack of all trades, need to spec carefully Shaman: Like a druid without shapeshift or real tanking options +: Totems; people love totems, so will you; -: again, spec carefully Hunter: Killshot! +: You have range, armour and a pet; -: Lots of HORRIBLE players play huntards, so excel or wear the label Warrior: Stancedance +: Plate wearer, tank
