What are the airport liquid regulations on baby milk (UK)?

Hello, You are able to take as much formula milk on board the aeroplane as is reasonable for the flight (and I would take extra in case of delays). Other liquids have a 100ml restriction, but this doesn’t apply to baby milk. Yes you can take bottles, but you may have to try them in front of security staff. This would be during the security checks (just after the scanners). The liquids are picked up by the scanners and you may need to taste a little. If you take unopened cartons of formula, be aware that you may have to open them too – leaving you with the obvious problems of spillage and mess. As another answerer suggested, you can buy ready made milk if there is a Boots in the airport. As these shops are beyond the security check area, you won’t have to open them. Of course it would be best to check the opening hours of those shops ahead of time – you should find this information on the airport website.
