What are the backstage details on Chris Jerichos “firing” from WWE?
First of all I want to clear it up that Chris Jericho’s “firing” was 100% storyline and was done to incorporate him in the main event angle to bring Vince McMahon back to television. I haven’t heard the exact details of the angle but we’ll see how it unfolds on TV over the next couple of weeks. You state that Spike TV needs to step up to help TNA Wrestling. What do you think they need to do to help TNA? In the words of Vince McMahon, it’s all about the money! Spike TV needs to spend the big bucks on TNA and really help brand them as a staple of their network (this is one of the few points where I agree with Kevin Nash). However, I don’t place all the blame on Spike as I think that TNA has not done a good job at creating an identity for their brand and have chosen to try and live off of ex-WWE names. TNA has a very talented roster, even without Gail Kim and Christian, and they need to push their workers to brand them as TNA guys. To submit your question for our next installment of Ask W
