What are the bands hopes/aspirations for this album, Forget and Not Slow Down?
Matt: I hope that I can write some introspective songs about some really specific personal experiences that I go through. And if someone maybe has the same sort of emotion or feeling or thought that they can relate to it. And hopefully the way I’ve addressed it resolves the situation enough so that if someone needs some hope or whatever hopefully I’ve thought about it and written it into the song. That’s the only thing I feel like music can really accomplish is changing someone’s thought process a little bit or making things better. And that’s I guess what we want; to have people be better for listening to the record. But you can’t always relate to everybody in every song so we know that the whole world isn’t going to be able to use it for their advantage. But hopefully people like the songs and it all works out. Marian: This is the bands first album out on the Mono vs. Stereo label, correct? Matt: Yeah, it’s kind of a weird label situation. Mono vs. Stereo is a sub-label of Gotee Reco
