What are the benefits of the bond issue for residents who don’t have students in the District?
In addition to the enhanced learning opportunities for students, many of the changes at Thurston High School will provide new and improved opportunities for community usage of the facilities. These include, but are not limited to, a new 700-seat auditorium that could be used by many residents of Redford, a Fitness Center, updated pool area, updated locker rooms, spaces for meetings, etc. Upgrades at Pierce Middle School include a new track that will provide community members with an additional recreational facility.
