What are the benefits of using Natural Family Planning (NFP)?
Couples who use NFP soon learn that they have a shared responsibility for family planning and a healthier relationship. Other benefits include: low cost, no side effects, effectiveness for achieving/spacing/limiting pregnancy, usefulness throughout the reproductive life cycle, marriage enrichment and mutual understanding, appreciation for the value of a child, respect for and acceptance of the total person and moral acceptability. A growing number of dioceses and parishes are requiring NFP training be included in pre-cana, a preparation for marriage, and it is being received with willingness and acceptance.
