What are the benifits of 5-HTP?
5-HTP can help you make serotonin a neurotransmitter that your brain needs to help you relax and feel good. I have never heard of it being helpful for regulating height. It is generally safe at 50-100 mg 1-3 times a day for anxiety and confirmed serotonin deficiency or before bed for insomnia. I wouldn’t recommend taking it unless you are evaluated by a practitioner who has studied natural medicine including clinical nutrition. Most practitioners of convention all medicine do not have training or knowledge of nutrition, unless they have studied it outside of medical school.
