What are the best ways to remove the binding mesh from the hook?
Most anglers have told us that they simply slide the previous mesh up the hook’s shank and put on another piece of Fishbites. These same anglers have also added some meat shears or game shears to their tackle box. These shears are easily found at almost any outdoors store. These shears come in handy when needing to remove the excess mesh from the hook. Another way to remove this mesh is to simply clip off the hook, remove the mesh and tie the hook back on.
