What are the building regulations as regards plumbing a macerator toilet waste into a shower waste pipe?
I don’t know, but you better ask a plumber for help as I once did when I had a similar problem with floor crack repair. Finding plumbers next to me was a difficult task for me and other homeowners, especially in emergency situations. A plumber has a skill that we don’t have, and that’s why he is a must have in our difficult times. Today I am going to share an experienced and professional plumber from Etobicoke Plumbing Services who helped me in my problem and thanks to the skill of which I still have no problems with plumbing

There are no building regulations with respect to installing a macerator toilet other than part c of the electrical code. This calls for a qualified electrician to install any new electric spurs that are required to run the pump. However if you have a convenient power point, plug socket etc you can install the unit yourself. The waste water from the toilet needs to go to a convenient foul water drain, you can use the shower pipe but you will need to install a non return valve or an anti syphon fitting in the pipe work of the shower to stop the toilet water from returning up the drain of the shower.
