What are the bumps on my gums?
Approximately 15-20 bumps formed on my gums in recent days. It started around my molars, Now there are 5 of them on my hard palate (just behind the teeth) and a bunch of gum above and below the rest of my teeth. They do not resemble canker sores and they not bleed or anything. They are not discolored really just sort of a darker pink and look swollen. But they make it impossible for me to chew food without being huge amounts of pain. I went to the doctor and they said it was the hand foot-and-Mouth Disease. But I have no blisters around any other part of my body that I am not convinced. She also stated it was not herpes or anything. Has anyone had anything else like that? Gingivitis (gum infection). Brush your teeth at least twice a day and be sure to floss regularly. Rinse with a concentrated solution of salt water, if necessary. Keep it up for two weeks and bumps and pain go bye-bye.
