What are the causes of Blisters?
A Blister is a small pocket of fluid within the upper layers of the skin. Blisters can be filled with blood (known as blood blisters) or with pus (if they become infected). There are a variety of causes of Blisters, which can all be easily treated and prevented. Sweaty, hot and very moist feet are on the main causes of Blisters, especially when there is excessive friction or pressure over part of the foot. Poorly fitting and tight shoes are also common causes of Blister, which put stress on the feet and rub against the skin. Blisters can also be formed as a result of viral infection, as well as sunburn and insect bites.
