I can relate to your friend, I also have irregular periods. I have been told by my doctor that many women experience irregular menstruation. He told me it can be a number of reasons, but I suggest your friend talk with her doctor to make sure there are not any underlying problems. Your diet can play a role in irregular periods and so can stress. We can exercise more as well. If you are pregnant it can actually seem like an irregular period. The onset of Menopause can cause your period to be irregular, as well. As for me I began to eat healthier, drink more water and exercise and it seemed to help a bit. I could possibly be starting Menopause though. We shall see.
