What are the chances of harvesting a Whitetail deer?
All of our rifle hunters have had an opportunity to take a shot at a decent buck. Some have not for reasons of their own. For example, we had a gentleman within 50 yards of a 170 class typical twelve point. The buck was chasing a doe around us for 20 minutes. The hunter chose not to shoot. We also have a number of hunters that miss. We estimate that the success rate for bow hunters is about 50% and 85 % for the rifle hunters.
