What are the chemical elements found in a rubber?
Most of what is attached to that chain are usually carbon and hydrogen-containing groups but almost anything can be included into the rubber molecules if particular functionality is introduced into the attached groups. Cross-linking of carbon-based rubber in particular can be achieved by reacting them with polyvalent elements such as sulphur.
