What are the .cht, .opt and .is0 files that appear in my ROM folder?
(Top) A: The .cht file contains the cheat settings (which cheats are enabled) for a given ROM. The .opt file contains your saved config settings (slow-motion, cheat switch, etc.) for the ROM. And lastly, .is0 files hold settings for real-time save. Deleting .cht, .opt and .is0 files will not affect your save file (.sav) in any way; it will simply restore the ROM’s config settings to default, and they are automatically regenerated whenever you enable cheats or change config settings for a ROM.
