What are the criteria for private companies?
Corporate Affiliations lists privately held companies with U.S.-located headquarters or holding companies. Generally, U.S. based private companies must demonstrate revenue in excess of 10 million, 300 employees or substantial assets to be included in the database. Subsidiaries for these parent companies are included. Also included are outside service firms attached to the parent companies. These are firms that perform specialized services such as accounting, legal, or pension management, etc. Approximately 50,000 U.S. private parent companies with 25,000 subsidiaries included.
