What are the differences between Amperes law and Biotsavart law?

Ampere’s law is generally used to find the magnetic flux density (B) given a certain current in a coil or other arrangement. Ampere’s force law describes the force that arises among current-carrying conductors and I believe is derived from Ampere’s law. Biot-Savart law also is used to find the magnetic flux density (B), but is used for geometries where the integral is easier to solve than the Ampere’s law equation. So, in other words, they are two different ways to find the same thing.
