What are the differences between the 700P and the 700 Varmint rifles?
The 700P rifles are parkerized verses either stainless or bluing on the 700VS. The stock on the 700P rifle is the HS Precision tactical stock verses a slim sporting version on the 700VS. The 700P rifle is built more to the nature of its purpose; it is known to shoot 1 MOA or less right out of the box. The 700P rifles come standard with an additional stud for use with a bipod.
