What are the different current CHF programs?
We have a very diverse range of programs in Sudan, covering education, radio distribution, water, sanitation and infrastructure, gender based violence, water chlorination—a very wide sweep! In the past we were mostly based in the southernmost parts of southern Sudan, but now we are operating in five states—half the country and a huge geographical area. The current programs are: CLIPSS 2 is an Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance funded program focusing on livelihoods, water and sanitation and infrastructure. We build water systems, undertake vocational training, and build infrastructure including markets and municipal offices. People are better able to access markets and water sources and they now have transferrable skills and increased employment opportunities. We have helped over 40,000 people with this program. JOCAP is funded by Total France and is an infrastructure, water and sanitation and government-capacity building program. We have repaired dikes, built offices, rehabilitated
