What are the different types of cherry picker?
We all probably have an image in our heads of what we think a cherry picker is like and thus we are normally surprised to discover that there are, in fact, many different types of them about. The wheeled cherry picker, where the lifting section is attached to some form of vehicle is probably the type which we are most used to seeing in our day to day lives. They can be driven on normal roads and can thus move easily from job to job, there are also smaller versions which can be fitted onto the back of ordinary trucks. There is also the trailer-mounted boom lift, which is a more rudimentary version, although it works on much the same principles; it has to be towed to its site by another vehicle and this means that it is slightly more cumbersome and less mobile than its wheeled sibling. Whatever the type which you end up choosing, they all do the same job and they have all revolutionized that we can go about some of the most awkward and dangerous tasks which are now part of our day to day
