SCUBA diving (and the jobs within) can be separated into 2 main feelds.
Recreational and Commercial:
Recreational SCUBA is generally involved in the tourist industry with the normal career path leading to instuctor level or higher.
Recreational jobs are usually at resorts or dive centres/
Commercial SCUBA is any other job which is performed under water.

Commercial jobs are usually in the construction, oil and gas or renewable energy industries.
