There are two types of teeth: milk teeth (also called baby teeth) and permanent teeth. Milk teeth come out from 6 months until the 24th month of a child. A complete set of milk teeth consists of 20 teeth. All milk teeth are replaced by permanent teeth. The first permanent tooth most likely comes out on the child’s 6th or 7th birthday, which when completed consists of 32 permanent teeth.
