What are the drinking laws in Germany?
The legal drinking age in Germany is much younger than the United States. It is also more specific. For example:
At 16 years of age an individual is allowed to consume non-distilled alcoholic beverages which are beer and wine. Liquor is not allowed at this age. Those under the age of 16 are allowed to consume alcohol in the form of beer or wine while under parental supervision.
At 18 years of age and individual is allowed to consume any type of alcohol legally.
