Alcohol is alcohol regardless of what it’s mixed with (at least the type of alcohol humans can metabolize to some extent). The effects the same as on “of age” drinkers- only the liver and kidneys are not yet ready to handle the alcohol (which, like it or not, is a poison as far as our liver is concerned). A small amount of alcohol is unlikely to have any noticeable health effect. It will have an effect on your behaviour and possibly your health depending on how much you drink and how fast. Your inhibitions- that let you judge when things just don’t seem quite right – tend to be ignored. So you tend to say and do stupid things. With luck, no real harm gets done.
