Hey Gavin… There is an unbelievable varity of sausages. There are very special ones, which people have to get used to before liking them. Or others that are indeed very special and tasty but not typicall. Then there are famous popular ones. Than there are popular ones, which are not bavarian, but are eaten a lot. However this would be my suggestion: Most Popular ones: – Weißwurst (very special taste; cooked in hot water. eat together with sweet mustard; I think it would be the most typicall bavarian one, because I don’t know any other place in the world where to get it and it is really popular in Bavaria – and only there 😉 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weisswurst – Nürnberger Rostbratwürtchen. It is a rather commen sausage in Germany. I’d guess it is the most eaten sausage at BBQs. very small and really tasty. eat with Catsoup or mustard
