What are the grades PT, PM, TE, TM, and TR?
These grades are assigned to courses that were completed somewhere other than at the University of Virginia: • PT = Pre-Matriculation Transfer: courses completed at another academic institution prior to enrolling at the University; • PM = Pre-Matriculation Transfer Credit for Major/Minor: transfer courses completed at another academic institution prior to enrolling at the University and approved to be used for major or minor credit by schools/departments that require approval of transfer credit; • TE = Test Credit: courses earning advanced placement through standardized testing, for example: SAT, SAT II, IB, etc…; • TM = Post-Matriculation Transfer Credit for Major/Minor: transfer courses completed at another academic institution after enrolling at the University and approved to be used for major or minor credit by schools/departments that require prior approval of transfer credit; • TR = Post-Matriculation Transfer: courses completed at another academic institution after enrolling at
