I do know that it has a lot of antioxidants in it. So it’s great for the immune system. I think it’s also great for hair and nails.

Some of the key benefits include:

Potassium, which is essential for life, and for proper heart functioning. Coconut water has more 61 milligrams  of potassium, which is way more than many drinks of choice, including sports drinks.

Low sodium. At 5 milligrams, this drink is better than others in terms of hydration. Plus, it allows you to stay at your recommended levels of sodium for the day.

Excellent source of hydration. The molecular composition of coconut water is said to work as a binding agent that prevents dehydration at the cellular level.

Good flavor- It is naturally, mildly sweet. However, coconut still contains sugar, albeit way less than than a soft drink. Still, very careful not to have too much of it, because at around 65 calories per cup it may hinder your diet plans.
