What are the health problems from breathing an unclean kitty litter box?
The first thing that comes to mind is toxoplasmosis , and pregnant women should not be exposed to dirty kitty litter since that is a good source of the toxoplasma gondii eggs supposedly. The infection rarely causes problems in healthy adults, but it can be dangerous to a developing fetus, possibly resulting in miscarriage, stillbirth, or severe complications such as blindness and mental retardation.
