What are the hidden extras that Ryanair charge when booking?
The “extras” that you need to be aware of: 1) Check in luggage – if you intend to check in luggage, first piece will cost GBP8/EUR10 (or local equivalent) while second/third pieces will cost GBP16/EUR20 one way if you pre-paid for this online. If you find yourself having to check luggage in at the airport and you haven’t pre-paid online, you have to pay twice as much. The maximum weight allowed is only 15kg per person no matter how many bags you pay to check in. Any extra weight will be charged at the airport after the weighing.
