What are the hiring prospects in Air Traffic Control and Commerical Aviation?

0

During the last year there has been a significant increase in the demand for Air Traffic Control and Commercial Aviation graduates. With the major airlines downsizing to smaller and more efficient airplanes, a greater demand for corporate pilots and an increase in the number of fractional owner operations it has created a need for pilots that has not been seen since the late 80s. With the upcoming emergence of Very Light Jets and Personal Jets there will be an increased demand for professional pilots. During the course of the last year January 1 November 20, 2007, over 90% of the Commercial Aviation and Air Traffic Control graduates have been hired. These figures are based on data provided from Student Services and the ATC program.
